Our story, our why
Jon & Debbie
Jon and I are true animal lovers at heart. We were both raised surrounded by animals—Jon in Illinois and I in Arizona—and it has always been a major part of our lives.
I spent over 16 years as a veterinary technician, a career I truly loved, before turning my passion for animal care into something more personal.
Back in 1985, I began pet sitting and boarding pets in the Buckeye area to help local families who needed trustworthy care for their beloved animals. At the time, our community was small, and quality pet care options were limited—so it just made sense to step in and help. Over the years, what began as a part-time service grew steadily while I continued working in the veterinary field.
By 2004, I took the leap to run the business full time. Then, in 2006, I met Jon—a perfect match in every way. We both had shown dogs, loved riding horses, and shared a deep passion for animals. Together, we’ve continued to grow and refine our business, adding full-time grooming and expanding our boarding services.

Katie is part of the Paws-itively Purr-fect team here in Buckeye, and we’re grateful to have her as part of the caring crew you’ll meet when you walk through our doors.
